Hi Gorgeous Ladies!! ???
How is everyone doing? ???
Any oily skinned beauties out here?
Well, if you are, you might be facing the same struggle as me.. The Shiny T-Zone, Blackheads, Enough oil on face to get a fry done within a couple of hours of washing the face… I don’t even think of going for heavy makeup because no Foundation or compact has been able to keep a check on my sebum secretion till date..
Admist all these, one of the most common problem for us is choosing a good face wash that wouldn’t make the face stretchy and still keep the oil at a bay for a good amount of time.. ???
I have been trying quite a few these days and today i am going to review one such face wash that has been quite effective for me..

MY TAKE ON THE PRODUCT:
The Aroma magic grapefruit face wash comes in a sleak yellow coloured translucent tube with Beautiful pink flowers over it.. The cap shuts tight, without leakage making it damn too travel friendly!! ???
The face wash is a transparent yellow liquid with medium to runny consistency and smells of rose water mixed with lemon juice ,which won’t be troublesome for sensitive noses! (I am very bad at describing fragrances) ???
I have been using it quite often now and the first thing i noticed about it was that it doesn’t dry out the face completely like the Aroma Magic neem face wash.. It does make my combination-oily skin a bit (read very very little) dry during the days when temperature is less, so it might make your skin a little dry if you are more on the normal skin type side..
Also, this face wash never broke me out, neither did it increase any pre-existing acne! ???
It claims to lighten and brighten the skin, now I don’t believe in lightening or fairness claims of any cosmetic products because till day i have never seen any product that has lightened my skin tone! ???
But yes, upon Washing the face, it does brighten up the skin to some extent, removing the dirt and oil, and the skin feels quite refreshed! ???
It also controls sebum secretion for a good amount of time.. though i haven’t visibly seen any tightening of pores..
Well, when the oil production on face is under check, it hardly matters to me if the pores are tightened or not! ???
My T zone generally gets shiny in less than half an hour of washing my face, which was delayed by about half an hour.. So, that’s a lot more than satisfactory for me!
And since it controls the sebum, it keeps the face mattified too as mentioned..
SUMMING UP PROS AND CONS:
1. Inexpensive, Easily available and travel friendly!
2. Controls sebum secretion on face.
3. Brightens the face to some extent.
4. Mattifies the face, as it keeps oil in check.
5. Has a mild and pleasant aroma.
6. Never broke out my acne prone skin.
1. Doesn’t lighten up the skin.
2. Might be a little drying for normal skin types.
3. Couldn’t visibly see any tightening of pores! ???
FINAL TAKE: I overall like this face wash. It never broke me out or increased my acne, yet kept the oil in check! So it is a complete win win one for me! ???
