Bogar Organics Bath Powder Review

Well, tell me something… Have you ever used bath powders? If yes, did you like it more than your regular soaps and body washes?
I personally use body washes most of the times, but I have used bath powders before and I absolutely love them! ❤️

So, when Bogar Organics contacted me a few weeks ago, to review their bath powder (*and a couple of other products, reviews coming up soon 😀 ), it got me really excited! 😀
Today, I am going to review the same for you all! Read on to know all about it…

BOGAR ORGANICS BATH POWDER FOR WOMEN

DESCRIPTION/BENEFITS: Cleanses skin with natural oil balance, moisturizes skin, provides even tone, provides brightness, detan, reduces bad odor, controls excess sweating, controls acne, pimples, act as toner, minimizes pores, reduce oil secretion. Gives rejuvenating skin, continuous usage will remove and control the unwanted hair growth, gives shiny & soft skin, feels very fresh.

INGREDIENTS: Besan Flour, Himalayan Cedar Bark, Senna Flower, Red Lentil, Babchi Seeds, Black Cumin, Nut Grass Root, Spanish Cherry Flower, Rose Petals, Champak Flower, Coleus Vettiveroides, Sarasaparilla, Arjuna Bark, Neem, White Turmeric, Nutmeg, Tulasi, Bluejack Powder, Orange Peels, Licorice Powder, Thirumanjana Bark, Almond, Vetiver, Cucumber Seeds, Wild Turmeric.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Mix 10 to 15 grams powder in a bowl to make a paste and apply on wet body, gently rub and wash instead of soap.
Normal Skin – mix with water.
Dry skin – mix with raw milk.
Very dry skin – can apply olive oil/almond oil before bath.

MY TAKE ON THE PRODUCT:

Bogar Organics bath powder comes in a transparent resealable plastic pouch. The pouch is quite durable and the seal doesn’t burst open even under heavy pressure… So, if you want to carry it along while travelling, you can! 😀
The labels on the pouch contain all the necessary details about the product, including the list of ingredients and usage directions…

The bath powder is brownish-yellow in colour and has a herbal, ubtan-like fragrance… I find the smell quite pleasant and my grandma loves it! ❤️
The texture of this powder is fine, but not super-fine! This allows for mild exfoliation without harming the skin or making it sensitive, even if it is used daily…

I have been using this bath powder for more than a week now… About 2 tablespoons of the powder are enough for one use… You can use rose water, milk, yoghurt, honey, tomato juice – basically anything that you wish to, to make a paste… I just use tap water… 😛
I take an appropriate amount of the paste and massage it on my skin for a couple of minutes before washing it off… It gently removes all the dead skin cells, oil and impurities, leaving the skin clean and fresh!

This bath powder doesn’t strip the skin off its natural oils… It makes my skin feel soft and smooth! When used regularly, it does brighten up the skin and remove fresh tan to some extent… I have also noticed that it somewhat controls/reduces the bad body odour for quite a few hours after bath!
Since this bath powder contains neem and is completely natural, people with problematic skin can give this a try!
Also, because it provides some exfoliation and can be used daily, it helps to keep the ingrown body hair in check!

Now, one thing that I would like to mention here is that using bath powders is more time consuming than using soaps or body washes… But it also provides better results! So, in case you don’t have enough time to use bath powders daily, you can always keep them for pampering session during the weekends… 😀

SUMMING UP PROS AND CONS:

PROS:

3. All-natural; no chemicals or preservatives used.
4. Enriched with the goodness of several herbs, seeds and other natural ingredients.
5. Has a mild, natural fragrance.
6. Removes all the dead skin cells, oil and impurities; doesn’t dry out the skin.
7. Leaves the skin clean, smooth and fresh.
8. Regular use may help lighten tan and brighten up the skin.
9. Provides very mild exfoliation; may help prevent ingrown hair.
10. Suitable for all skin types.

CONS:

1. More time consuming than body washes/soaps.

RATING: 4.7/5

FINAL TAKE: Bogar Organics bath powder is an organic replacement for bath soaps… It cleanses the skin well and doesn’t dry it out! It also has several other benefits like skin brightening and odour control…
So, if you are interested in trying out all-natural skincare products, I would recommend you to try out this bath powder! 🙂
