Hello dear people! ❤❤❤
I hope you all are doing great! 😀
Well, if you have been following my blog for quite some time now, you may remember that I reviewed a dead sea mud based face wash by the brand “Chauth & Nagsan” a few months back… I absolutely loved the face wash and it became a “holy grail” product for me… ❤❤❤
So, when the brand launched a new face wash recently, you can clearly understand that I was quite excited to try it out! 😀
I have been using the all-new “Chauth & Nagsan neem face wash” for quite some time now and today, I am going to review the same for you all! ❤

MY TAKE ON THE PRODUCT:
Chauth & Nagsan neem face wash comes in a sturdy, transparent plastic bottle packaging with a foaming pump dispenser… Over the dispenser is a durable plastic cap that closes with a click and doesn’t slip off under regular pressure or movement… This makes the packaging totally leak-proof and travel-friendly! ❤
The bottle is covered with a green coloured label on which all the necessary details about the product, including the list of ingredients, shelf life and price are printed…
The face wash liquid, when present in the bottle, is watery and has a greenish tinge to it… However, when dispensed, it comes out as a light (not dense or creamy) white foam…
The face wash has a mild fragrance of tea tree essential oil which is actually quite calming and I don’t think that it is going to bother sensitive noses at all! ❤
With this face wash, one and a half pumps of the foam are all that you need for one use! The foam is really easy to work with and I massage it on my face and neck for a minute or so before washing it off… It cleanses the skin really well and removes all the oil and impurities from the skin surface! This face wash leaves my skin absolutely clean and fresh! ❤
The brand also claims that it would help prevent pimples… Well, I have hormonal acne and no skincare product can help prevent my pimples! 😛
But yes, this face wash definitely soothes the zits on my face and in my opinion, it may help prevent and reduce the acne caused by excess oil, impurities and bacterial growth (as it is an effective cleanser and also has antibacterial properties)! ❤
Now, I have a combination-oily skin type which gets really oily at times… I have been using this face wash for about 10 days now and never for once did it leave my skin “dry“… However, it sometimes does make the drier areas of my face feel a little stretchy post use… So, in my opinion, this face wash is best suited for people with combination to extremely oily skin types and may leave the skin dry and stretchy for people with normal and drier skin types!
SUMMING UP PROS AND CONS:
1. Available online on Amazon and Flipkart.
2. Sturdy, leak-proof and travel-friendly packaging.
3. Free of parabens, petroleum derivatives and sulphates.
4. Enriched with the goodness of aloe vera extract, neem extract, tea tree oil and dead sea salts.
5. Cleanses the skin really well and removes all the oil and impurities from the skin surface.
6. Doesn’t leave the skin dry or stretchy for combination to extremely oily skin types; most suitable for the above-mentioned skin types.
7. Doesn’t break out the skin or aggravate live acne.
8. May help calm, reduce and prevent acne caused due to excess oil, impurities and/or bacteria.
1. A little expensive…
2. May dry out normal (and obviously drier) skin type(s).
FINAL TAKE: Chauth & Nagsan neem face wash is an effective oil-cleansing face wash which removes all the oil and impurities from the skin without drying it out and may also help prevent pimples!
So, if you have a combination or oily skin type, you can definitely give this face wash a try! 🙂
Hope it helps! ❤
