Hello dear people! ❤❤❤
I hope you all are doing great! 🙂
Well, do you agree with me that the trickiest part of buying skin care products is finding the perfect facial moisturizer?
A good moisturizer is one that provides optimum moisturization, i.e., it neither leaves the skin stretchy nor oily!
I have a skin that keeps jumping around the “skin type chart” seasonally and so, many times I am left with moisturizers that either do not provide enough moisturization to my skin or provide a bit too much! Hence, the search for good moisturizers never end! 😛
A month back, the brand – Chauth & Nagsan, launched this nourishing day crème with dead sea salts and I started using it recently with high hopes! So, did it turn out to be a good one?
Read on to know! 😀

MY TAKE ON THE PRODUCT:
Chauth & Nagsan nourishing day crème comes in a transparent plastic tub with a black-coloured screw-on outer lid and a white-coloured inner lid… The overall packaging is really sturdy, leak-proof and compact, which makes it quite travel-friendly… [Some people find tub packagings to be unhygienic, but I, personally, don’t use skincare products with unclean hands! So, tubs are perfectly fine for me! 😛 ]
The tub is covered with reddish-pink coloured labels which contain all the necessary details about the product, including the list of ingredients and usage directions… ❤
The cream is soft and buttery but it doesn’t have a sticky or excessive oily feel to it. It has a faint baby pink colour and a beautiful, flowery fragrance… I wouldn’t say that it smells completely natural but yes, it smells really pleasant! ❤
The fragrance is quite mild and fades away within a few minutes of application. So, I don’t think that it is going to bother the sensitive noses much!
The cream spreads on the skin with ease and I just need a tiny, tiny quantity of it for each use… It gets completely absorbed into the skin with just a little massage and doesn’t leave behind any white cast, patches or oily/sticky residue! The cream nourishes the skin really well and leaves it soft, smooth and supple… It also provides a mild cooling sensation which lasts for a couple of minutes post-application… ❤
What’s more, I have been using this cream regularly for just over one week and it has already slightly brightened up my skin! It has also improved the texture of my skin to some extent and made it smooth! ❤
The cream contains SPF 15 which does provide basic sun protection and I find it good enough for indoors… However, I would suggest following it up with sunscreen before heading outdoors!
Now, to be very honest, when I received this cream, a month back, I wasn’t sure if it would work well for me since my skin turns quite oily during the summers and it was mid-June then! But I still used it for a couple of days and although it felt somewhat heavy and made me sweat a bit, it surprisingly didn’t make my skin any more oily than it would have naturally got in that weather! 😀
I started using it religiously some time back as the weather cooled down and as my skin turned normal-combination… The cream doesn’t make me sweat anymore and keeps my skin perfectly hydrated and nourished throughout the day! ❤
So, in my opinion, this cream is best suited for normal-combination to dry (but not too dry) skin types… Though I think that people with dry skin may feel the need to reapply it once or twice a day! The cream didn’t break out my skin even during the summers… Hence, I feel that people with acne-prone skin types too can give it a try! 🙂
