Hello lovely people! ❤❤❤
I hope you all are doing great! 😀
Well, if you have been following my blog for some time now, you might remember that I reviewed a few products from the brand ‘Chauth & Nagsan‘, a few months back… Chauth & Nagsan is an Indian luxury beauty brand that specializes in manufacturing dead sea mud/minerals infused beauty products and this time, they have come up with a nourishing hair oil enriched with the goodness of dead sea salts! Interesting, right? 😀
I have been using the hair oil religiously, for over three weeks now and today, I am going to review the same for you all!

MY TAKE ON THE PRODUCT:
Chauth & Nagsan onion hair oil comes in a sturdy, transparent plastic bottle packaging with a pump dispenser on the top… Over the pump dispenser are two plastic caps – a regular transparent cap to protect the dispenser and an extremely durable cap over the first cap to prevent any chances of leakage or spillage of the oil under pressure or movement! I absolutely love the packaging – it is thoughtful, sturdy, durable, secure and totally travel-friendly! ❤
The bottle is covered in a mauve coloured label which contains all the necessary details about the product, including the list of ingredients, shelf life, price and usage instructions mentioned over it…
The hair oil has a bright red shade when present in the bottle, although it looks much pale and transparent when pumped out… It has a unique but not at all unpleasant, DIY hair oil kind of fragrance… The smell is not overpowering but it is also not too mild. Hence, people with sensitive noses may find it a bit bothersome!
This onion hair oil has a lightweight and non-sticky texture… It doesn’t make my hair feel weighed down and neither does it make my hands feel sticky or too greasy, post use! 😀
As I already mentioned, I have been using this oil for over three weeks (2-3 times a week) now… I massage a good amount of the oil on my scalp and hair before I go to bed, at night and I wash it off using my regular shampoo in the morning… The oil gets rinsed off with ease in just a single wash and doesn’t leave behind even a hint of its fragrance on my tresses… ❤
One thing that I would like to mention here, is that the fragrance of the oil transfers to the pillow on which I sleep… So, you may choose to wear a light/fabric shower cap before going to bed to keep your pillows free from stains and smell!
This hair oil claims to reduce excessive hair fall, improve hair density and add shine and bounce to the tresses…
Now, I do not experience excessive hair fall but I do lose 10-12 hair strands on an average, per day and around 20-30 strands, when I wash my hair! Also, my hair density is very low and my tresses do not possess even a bit of shine! 🙁
In the first week of using this hair oil, to be very honest, I did not notice any difference in my mane… But then, gradually, I started noticing a slight decrease in my regular hair fall… And right now, I can confidently say that I am losing much lesser hair strands than what I used to lose 3 weeks back!
What’s more, the oil adds a bit of shine to my tresses (post wash) and my hair looks quite healthy even after 2-3 days of washing it!
I am much happy with this hair oil and I feel that if I continue using this, it would definitely help me maintain a healthy crop on my head! 😛
