MY TAKE ON THE PRODUCT:
Khadi Mauri Herbal fenugreek face wash comes in a sturdy, transparent plastic bottle with a black-coloured flip-cap on the top. The labels around the bottle contain all the necessary details about the product. However, the brand only lists the herbal ingredients and doesn’t disclose the chemicals present in the ‘base‘, which is something I don’t appreciate…
The face wash is transparent orange in colour and has a runny, gel-like consistency…
[P.S.: When I started using the face wash, it was winters and the gel was realllllyyy thick and it was hard to squeeze it out of the bottle. However, as the temperature rose, the gel became quite runny!]
The face wash has a musky, deodorant-like fragrance… It is not very mild and in my opinion, people with sensitive noses may find it bothersome!
This face wash lathers quite well and a coin-sized amount of the gel is enough for one use. It cleanses my skin effectively and removes all the dirt, oil and grime. However, if by any means, the lather enters my eyes, it makes my eyes burn pretty badly… So, be careful about that, if you are going to use it!
Anyway, the face wash leaves my skin fresh, clean and smooth! It did dry out my face when I used it during the winters, but it doesn’t make my normal-combination skin feel too stretchy these days… So, in my opinion, it is best suited for oily to normal skin types…
Now, talking about its long list of claims – It did not lighten my skin or fade my acne scars or reduce my blemishes or did anything noticeable!
And although it makes the skin feel smooth after use, the effects are temporary…

SUMMING UP PROS AND CONS:
1. Affordable and easily available online on Amazon and Flipkart.
2. Sturdy, leak-proof packaging.
3. Enriched with the goodness of fenugreek, fennel, chamomile, tiger herb, basil and apricot seed oil.
4. Has an artificial musky fragrance. (You may or may not like it.)
5. Lathers well; removes all the oil and impurities.
6. Leaves the skin clean and smooth.
7. Suitable for oily to normal skin types.
1. Not much travel-friendly due to its size.
2. Incomplete list of ingredients.
3. Causes a burning sensation in the eyes (in case it enters the eyes).
4. Not suitable for drier skin types.
FINAL TAKE: Khadi Mauri Herbal fenugreek face wash is a daily use face wash which cleanses the skin well. I don’t think that it does anything for blemishes or pigmentation, unlike what it claims, since I didn’t notice any difference!
I am not a fan of this face wash, but you can give it a try if you want to!
Hope it helps! ❤️
