Hello dear people! ❤❤❤
I hope you all are doing great! 😀
We all have a few products which work brilliantly for us, few which do an average job and a few that we would be thankful to get rid of!
Well, talking about my experiences with beauty products – I have had many products which surpassed my expectations, many which stood true to their claims, many which didn’t really impress me… And then a few which did exactly the opposite of what they claimed to do! 😛
And today, I have picked up something to review from the last category – a product that I will not recommend to anyone!
Read on to know! 😀

MY TAKE ON THE PRODUCT:
Krishkare argan oil ultra hydrating hair mask comes in a bulky, beige-coloured plastic tub packaging with a sand-coloured screw-on lid. All the necessary details about the product, including the list of ingredients, shelf life and price are mentioned on the tub. The overall packaging of the mask is really sturdy and leak-proof but it is too bulky to call it travel-friendly!
The hair mask is pure white in colour and has a medium to thick consistency. It has a pleasant artificial fragrance which is quite common in shampoos and conditioners. The fragrance is mild and I am quite sure that it will not bother the sensitive noses.
The mask almost vanishes when applied on to the hair and it is really difficult to understand if the mask is well spread throughout the length of the hair or not! I have used the mask for 3 to 4 times now and have kept it on for 15 minutes each time… The mask gets rinsed off pretty easily, although it leaves the hair in a weird state – somewhat sticky and all the strands clumped together!
Once dry, the hair remains in a similar state and even after combing, the end of the strands tend to get clumped after some time!
The mask claims to soften hair, detangle knots, add shine, repair dry and damaged hair and make the hair bouncy…
But in reality, this mask makes my hair look extremely dull and decreases even its natural bounce! It doesn’t soften the hair much and a basic conditioner would leave the hair much more soft! It also doesn’t do much to detangle the hair and I feel that it even increases the knots! 🙁
But what I hate the most is that it makes my hair look dirty and unwashed… You know how your hair looks when your scalp is oily and you don’t wash your hair for a week? My hair looks the same after shampooing and using this mask!
Additionally, it leaves my hair slightly greasy and every time I run my fingers through my hair, my fingertips feel somewhat sticky (not oily, but creamy)!
Initially, I thought that reducing the quantity of the mask would solve the issue… But even after using just 1 tablespoon of the mask (which was barely enough for my hair), the results remained the same! 🙁

SUMMING UP PROS AND CONS:
- Easily available online on Amazon, Flipkart and Nykaa.
- Sturdy, leak-proof, reusable packaging.
- Mild, pleasant fragrance.
- Expensive and not worth the money.
- Loaded with several undesirable chemicals like SLES, LLP and petroleum jelly.
- Leaves the hair looking dirty and unwashed.
- Makes the hair dull, decreases the bounce, doesn’t detangle the knots and doesn’t soften the hair much.
- Makes the hair slightly greasy.
RATING: 0.5/5 (0.5 for the sake of packaging!)
FINAL TAKE: Krishkare argan oil ultra hydrating hair mask is a product which in my opinion, does no practical good to the hair… I would say that a basic hair oil would work much better than this mask!
Hope it helps! ❤
