Bio Bloom Orange Lip Balm Review

Lip balms are one of those things that I can never have enough of! 😛
I still remember, my first ever lip balm was the basic ‘Lip Care’ by Vaseline, which my mom shared with me when I was a kid… And since then, I have owned dozens of lip balms from several different brands, most of which I keep passing on to my mom after a couple of months of use! 😛
But a few amazing ones do make me cling on to them for years… And today, I am going to review one such lip balm, that I am deeply in love with for over a year now and am in no mood to part with it anytime soon! 😛
It’s the orange lip balm from Bio Bloom! ❤

BIO BLOOM ORANGE LIP BALM

DESCRIPTION [As On The Website]: BioBloom’s Orange Lip Balm is made out of 100% natural beeswax and enriched with the fruity Orange Essential Oil. It moisturizes the lips and protects them from external exposure, lips being the most vulnerable because of the thin skin.

MY TAKE ON THE PRODUCT:

The Bio Bloom orange lip balm comes in a tiny little transparent plastic tub with a black-coloured screw-on cap on the top and a spill-proofing lid inside! The tub contains the complete list of ingredients and the manufacturing details mentioned over it… The packaging of the lip balm is quite sturdy and compact, which makes it really easy to carry around! ❤
One thing, that I would like to mention here, is that many people do prefer tube packagings over tub packagings, on the grounds of the latter being slightly unhygienic (which is a ‘fact’, if you tend to use the product with dirty hands), but that is an individual choice and I am, personally, comfortable with all kinds of packagings… 😛

This orange lip balm has a mild but beautiful fragrance of ‘orange zest’… It is definitely not that artificial, overly sweet orange fragrance that would remind you of orange cream biscuits or orange flavoured lollipops, instead the smell is very organic and natural as it comes from the orange essential oil present in the lippy! The balm is also devoid of added colours and hence, is totally transparent and can be used beneath matte lipsticks…

The lip balm does not feel waxy or sticky on touching and neither does it make the lips feel heavy or greasy after application… ❤
This balm feels very comfortable on the lips and keeps the lips well moisturised for hours… It also doesn’t completely succumb to meals and the lips feel quite nourished even after having food and wiping the lips! ❤

The lip balm is very effective when it comes to healing cracked, bitten or chapped lips… I have a really bad habit of biting & peeling the skin off my already dry lips, which sometimes leaves my lips bleeding or sore… This lip balm soothes the burning sensation (if any) and heals my lips almost completely, overnight! And that’s one thing I just love about it! ❤❤❤
In general, the lip balm makes the lips soft, supple, nourished and overall healthy, if used regularly…
And I am using the term ‘healthy’ because I have observed my lips look really ‘healthy’ whenever I use this lip balm continuously, for a couple of days! ❤

SUMMING UP PROS AND CONS:

PROS:

1. Affordable and easily available online on Amazon, Nykaa, Flipkart and Bio Bloom’s own website!
2. Secured and compact packaging; easy to carry around!
3. Free from parabens, sulphates, formaldehyde and petrochemicals and contains coconut oil, vitamin E oil, shea butter, cocoa butter and orange essential oil! ❤
4. Doesn’t contain artificial colours or fragrance; the lip balm has got a natural orange fragrance due to the presence of orange essential oil in it!
5. Doesn’t feel heavy or waxy on the lips!
6. Keeps the lips soft, supple and moisturised; works great for chapped and cracked lips, gradually healing them in a few days (higher the damage, more the time will it take)!
7. Stays on the lips for hours and doesn’t completely succumb to meals… Can be used as an overnight treatment for soft, healthy lips! 🙂

CONS:

1. Comes in a tub packaging which may seem unhygienic to many people!

RATING: 4.7/5

FINAL TAKE: An amazing and really effective balm that would keep the lips healthy & nourished and a natural fragrance of fresh oranges… What more can one ask for in a lip balm! ❤
If you love oranges and lip balms equally, Bio Bloom orange lip balm is one thing (in my opinion) that you should definitely get for yourself! 😀
