Well, isn’t it amazing when you want something and your mom magically appears with it?
Be it the dish that you are craving for or that dress you fell in love with the other day but couldn’t buy or just the basic stapler that you misplaced and couldn’t find when needed… In my case, it was a face wash! 😛
I was running out of face washes and I hadn’t even told anyone… But my mom bought me a few! :’-)
Today, I am going to review one of those face washes – Biotique Bio Papaya face wash!

BIOTIQUE BIO PAPAYA FACE WASH
DESCRIPTION: Bio Papaya Visibly Flawless Skin Face Wash purifies, deep cleanses, refines and illuminates skin. Eliminates flakes. Cleans pores. Dissolves makeup and oil. Smoothes the way to a fresh, polished, glowing complexion.
For all skin types.
INGREDIENTS: Papita Juice-3.0%, Akhrot Shell Powder-3.0%, Neem Bark 5.0%, Banhaldi Tuber-2.0%, Ritha Fruit-8.0%, Kikar Gond-2.0%, Moongphali Tail-1.5%, Purified Water Q.S.
Ayurvedic recipe. 100% botanical extracts.
Organically pure & preservative free.
Dermatologist tested for safety. No animal testing.
DIRECTIONS: Massage on wet face and neck with fingertips. Avoid eye area. Remove with water or damp wash cloth, morning and evening.

MY TAKE ON THE PRODUCT:
Biotique Bio Papaya face wash comes in a transparent plastic tube with a sturdy, green-coloured flip-cap… The packaging is really durable and it can bear a lot of pressure without leaking or rupturing. This makes it quite travel-friendly! ❤️
The label on the tube contains most of the necessary details about the product. However, like all Biotique products, the list of ingredients present is incomplete… :-/
The face wash looks slightly greenish in the tube but comes out transparent and clear when squeezed out on palm. It has a medium, gel-like consistency and contains a good amount of tiny scrubbing granules suspended in it.
The face wash kind of smells like fresh green papaya… The fragrance is quite mild and I don’t think that it is going to bother any sensitive noses…
The face wash doesn’t lather much but cleanses the skin well… I usually take a coin-sized amount of the gel and massage it on wet skin for a minute or so, before washing it off… The scrubbing granules are not at all harsh and instead, feel quite gentle against the skin!
The face wash removes all the dirt, oil, impurities and dead skin cells… It leaves my skin clean, fresh and super smooth! ❤️
The brand also claims that this face wash can dissolve makeup and it indeed does so! It removes non-waterproof makeup pretty well and also dissolves waterproof makeup to a small extent…
Right now, I have a normal-combination skin type and this face wash makes my skin feel slightly stretchy post-use… So, in my opinion, it is suitable for people with oily to normal skin types, while it may leave the skin even more dry and stretchy for people with drier skin types. Additionally, it didn’t hurt or harm my skin in any way even when I had live acne on my face… So, if you have a few pimples and you want to try this face wash, go for it! However, if you have way too many zits on your face, it is better not to use it (as it contains scrubbing granules).

SUMMING UP PROS AND CONS:
PROS:
- Affordable and easily available both online as well as offline! You can purchase it from Amazon, Flipkart or Nykaa.
- Durable, leak-proof, travel-friendly packaging.
- Contains a good percentage of natural, ayurvedic ingredients and claims to be organically pure and preservative-free!
- Has a pleasant fragrance.
- Cleanses the skin really well.
- Leaves the skin clean, fresh and super smooth!
- Removes non-waterproof/regular makeup pretty well.
- Didn’t break out my skin or aggravate the acne present.
- Suitable for oily to normal skin types.
CONS:
- An incomplete list of ingredients.
- Not suitable for drier skin types.
- Doesn’t remove waterproof/heavy makeup properly.

FINAL TAKE: Biotique Bio Papaya face wash is a quality product that cleanses the face well, removes dead skin cells and also removes makeup to a good extent…
So, if you are looking for an affordable, multi-tasking face wash, you can surely give this a shot! 🙂

This seems like a good facewash . But I have dry skin type now and I can’t apply this . But for summer I am going hold this .
Hey same pinch I am using this very facewash and liking it very much. The price is reasonable and the granules do mild scubbing also.

Biotique body washes are my favourite, I have tried much of their face washes. They are good and affordable. Never tried much of their face washes will definitely check this one as I have combination skin.
This really looks like a great natural product for skin care. Papaya has so many benefits. Good to know about this product.
I know Papaya has a lot of benefits that help the skin. So of course a face wash made of papaya with Neem bark has to be one of the best. I will try to get this one and try it out. Since I don’t wear makeup, one of the cons mentioned is not applicable for me. Which means this product has more pros.
I have oily skin and I would love to try the Biotique Bio Papaya Face Wash. One of the things I noticed in your detailed review is that not much lather is produced with this face wash. I generally prefer more lather because in summers my skin really becomes messy because of the sweat and moisture.

Is it good for oily skin ?. I am badly struggling with oily skin and acne skin. Seems like a great product for dry skin.
I have used this product myself and indeed it is a good one. Cleanses so well and makes your skin feel fresh instantly. I also like their products deliver what they promise and that they are pocket friendly too. Also, your flat lay is just gorgeous. Couldnt take my eyes off the picture.
