I posted a review of Good Vibes neroli revitalizing face mist here, a few days ago and you all (my readers) quite liked it… So, I decided to share my views on another face mist from the same brand, which I had bought along with it… 🙂

GOOD VIBES LEMONGRASS TONING FACE MIST

DESCRIPTION: Lemongrass, because, well LEMONGRASS!! Feel fresh and clean all day long with this soothing face mist. Enriched with sweet smelling Lemongrass, it works to tone, hydrate and protect your skin.
Crafted with passion, skill, fresh ingredients and skin expertise, helping you to restore the freshness of your face. After all in life, all you ever need is, love, a glowing face and Good Vibes!

INGREDIENTS: Lemongrass Hydrosol, Aloe Vera Extract, Vitamin B5, Citric Acid.
No Parabens. No Sulphates. Cruelty-Free.

HOW TO USE?
Hold the mist about 10 inches from your face; close your eyes and then spray. It is recommended to use the face mist before a moisturizer.

BE CAREFUL OF: Avoid contact with eyes. Discontinue use if signs of irritation or rashes appear. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place. For external use only.

COST: Rs. 150 for 50ml (Usually available on discount.)

SHELF LIFE: 24 months

MY TAKE ON THE PRODUCT:

Good Vibes lemongrass toning face mist comes in a transparent, plastic spray bottle packaging. A label around the bottle contains all the necessary details about the product, including the benefits, usage directions and shelf life. However, the list of ingredients mentioned is incomplete, which is something I do not appreciate!
The overall packaging of the mist is convenient, sturdy and leak-proof, which makes it travel-friendly! ❤️

The face mist is colourless and transparent and has a natural lemongrass fragrance… The smell isn’t very strong or overpowering and fades away within minutes of application… The fragrance also tends to get milder with time, so, the longer (I am talking in months, like 5-6 months or so) you have the mist bottle sitting on your shelf, the meeker will it be!

I have been using this face mist for over 8 months now… During summer, I kept it inside my refrigerator and used it whenever I felt the need to calm down my skin, and it really helped a lot! It completely refreshes the senses and cools and soothes the skin when used slightly chilled! (Note: Always chill it for a few minutes before using it during summers, otherwise, it wouldn’t be of much help.)
During all the other seasons, I have used it (without chilling) on my face as a source of hydration before applying moisturizers and have also sprayed it on whenever I needed some freshness.
This face mist can also be added into DIY face masks or scrubs as a binder or ingredient, just like rose water. ❤️

Now, coming to the “toning” part, I honestly couldn’t find any difference between what this mist did to my skin and what rose water does to my skin, in general… So, I believe that you would be disappointed if you buy this mist, especially for “toning” purposes…
Anyway, the mist is very gentle on the skin, and it suited me well even when my skin turned really sensitive, a few months back… Hence, in my opinion, it is going to satisfy all the skin types… 🙂

SUMMING UP PROS AND CONS:

PROS:

1. Affordable and available online on Purplle.
2. Convenient, leak-proof, travel-friendly packaging.
3. Free of parabens and sulphates.
4. Enriched with the goodness of lemongrass, aloe vera extract and vitamin B5.
5. Has a natural lemongrass fragrance.
6. Very refreshing; has a soothing effect on the skin.
7. Hydrates the skin well; can be used before using a moisturizer.
8. Can be used in DIY face packs/scrubs.
9. Suitable for all skin types.

CONS:

1. Available ONLY on Purplle.
2. The list of ingredients is incomplete.
3. Has no noticeable “toning” effects.

RATING: 4.2/5

FINAL TAKE: Good Vibes lemongrass toning face mist is a refreshing mist which may not exactly help with toning, but is gentle on the skin and can be used in a variety of ways. ❤️
So, if you are looking for an alternative to your regular rose water or want to try out something new, you can give this a shot! 😀
