SHELF LIFE: 24 months

MY TAKE ON THE PRODUCT:

The Face Shop Jeju aloe fresh soothing gel comes in a sturdy plastic tube with a green-coloured flip cap. (*It is also available in tub packaging, for those who prefer tubs.) The packaging is durable and leak-proof, however, it is quite bulky… So, I don’t think that it is suitable for travel purposes… 😛
The tube has all the necessary details about the product, including the list of ingredients and expiry date, mentioned on it…

The aloe gel is transparent and colourless… It is non-runny but has an extremely lightweight, watery texture… The gel has a herbal fragrance which I find quite soothing! The smell is mild and fades away within a couple of minutes. So, I don’t think that it is going to bother the sensitive noses much…

My facial skin gets quite oily and problematic during the summer season and I pretty much ditch all of my moisturizers! This aloe gel gets absorbed into the skin within no time and doesn’t leave behind any residue… Hence, it acts as a perfect moisturizer for oily skin types!
It is also very soothing and when used after sun exposure, threading or hair removal, it calms down the skin…
This aloe gel can be used as a mask for both face and hair as well as in DIY beauty recipes… 🙂

Now, this gel contains quite a few chemicals, including alcohol and fragrance, but it also contains several herbal extracts like grapefruit seed extract, rosemary leaf extract, basil leaf extract, lavender flower extract and more… So, I am not mad at it… 😛
If you prefer to use only 100% natural gels, this is not something that would please you! But if you are fine with using skincare products that contain a small amount of artificial additives, I think you would find this gel pretty amazing! ❤️
